The Business Design Centre was packed with the top British buyers who had\u00a05300 visitors for the January edition, 90% of which were from the UK. TLTF is the meeting place for British industry professionals with an increasing appeal for international buyers. Among our regular visitors are: River Island, Victoria Beckham, Harrods, Alexander McQueen, Tommy Hilfiger, American Outfitters, Ted Baker, House of Fraser, John Lewis, La Perla UK, Asos, Calvin Klein, LACOSTE, Chanel, Dorothy Perkins, Tesco, MaxMara, New Look, Monsoon, House of Fraser, ZARA and many more.<\/p>\n
4 halls with a total of around 430 exhibitors for this first show of 2017. Fashion Textiles and Accessories halls are still the main attraction with around 90% of the overall exhibiting space, with a stable presence for Print studios and Vintage Garments Hall.<\/p>\n
The Textile Hall, offered a complete overview of what the industry presents for SS18, with 20 new exhibitors and a new room on the balcony level completely dedicated to textiles. A wide selection of womenswear, menswear, childrenswear fabrics and accessories with an increasing number of technical textiles manufactures.<\/p>\n
The Accessories Hall has grown exponentially over the last 4 editions, showcasing an impressively diverse range of products from the best European manufacturers. Collections included buttons, labels, zips, tape, linings, trimmings and a lot more from Italy, Spain, UK, Portugal, Turkey and Denmark.\u00a0The Print Design and Vintage Garments hall attracts the leading UK and international studios, with a large number of studios exhibiting also at The London Print Design Fair which takes place in March and October every year.\u00a0In terms of exhibitors Countries Italy has the biggest share, followed by Turkey and UK and the 3 Countries together represents around the 70% of the overall exhibiting area.<\/p>\n
Italy has an important presence especially within the Textiles and Accessories sector, while the UK leads the Print Studios and Vintage Garments Hall.<\/p>\n
Brexit doesn\u2019t seem to have effected in any important way the commercial relationships between the UK and the rest of Europe. Figures in terms of exhibitors and visitors remain in line of the forecasted before the 23rd of June 2016 with an increasing interest of European manufacturers towards the UK market.<\/p>\n
