With the LM 100W, Z\u00fcnd is introducing a laser module for sign & display applications.<\/h2>\n

The purpose of this new laser-cutting system is to cut polyester fabrics and seal the edges at the same time. This addition further amplifies the versatility of Z\u00fcnd’s modular, wide-format cutting systems. Polyester fabrics conquer applications previously ruled by paper and PVC substrates, and to facilitate cutting this material, Z\u00fcnd <\/a>has developed the LM 100W<\/em> laser module. It is designed to cut polyester textiles and simultaneously seal the edges. The LM 100W<\/em> automates operations and eliminates the need for seaming. Because laser cutting is a touchfree process, no hold-down is required during processing. It takes one operator a few simple steps and a matter of minutes to convert a Z\u00fcnd cutter to a full-blown laser-cutting system. Once the laser job is completed, it is just as easy to reconfigure the cutter for the next application. The Z\u00fcnd laser module is equipped with an air-cooled CO2 100W laser<\/em> with a processing speed of 44m\/144 ft per min. As a Class 1 laser, it requires no special safety gear such as protective glasses.
